Alan's 5th class attended the ESB Science Blast. We went with our investigation: Does technology have an immediate effect on our brains?

Over the past few months, the class have put in so much effort to put this investigation together. We planned, executed and collected data from a series of experiments to help with our enquiry.

This involved giving a sample group a test in three categories: Reading, Maths & PE.

They all did the tests first with no influence of technology. Then, spent a set time using technology without interruption. Finally, they did similar tests in each category and we compared their scores from the two tests to see if there was any major change.

Surprisingly, from our investigation we saw that technology does have an immediate effect on our brains with a lot of children dropping in their scores after using technology!

But what do you think?
